Above the ice fog, with a view that stretches to McKinley, the lilac-hues of winter mornings fill the air. When things are green, a cool breeze slides easily through the leaves and brings the scent of all things alive and fresh. For now, it’s fire season here in the Interior, and with it come great care and attention toward preventing a stray spark, an unattended BBQ, and a smoker’s random cigarette tossed out a window.
